How do I place an order?
Browse our catalogue, select your fabric or pattern bundle, choose your quantity and add it to your cart. You can checkout as a guest or create an account for a faster experience next time.
Can I order a fabric sample before buying?
Yes — sample requests are available on selected fabrics. Look for the "Request a Sample" button on the product page.
What is the minimum order quantity?
For standard fabric orders there is no minimum. For custom orders and wholesale, minimum order quantities apply — please use the Request a Custom Quote form for more information.
Can I order a custom pattern?
Yes, custom patterns are available for both private makers and professionals. Get in touch through our Custom Quote form and our team will guide you through the process.

Are your fabrics sold by the metre?
Yes, all fabrics are sold by the metre. Simply enter the quantity you need and the price will update automatically.
What does "cut to order" mean?
It means your fabric is cut specifically for you at the time of your order. This ensures you always receive fresh, accurate lengths — but please note that cut fabric cannot be returned unless faulty or damaged.

How do I access wholesale pricing?
Register for a wholesale account through our Wholesale page. Once your application is approved, you'll be able to log in and see exclusive B2B pricing directly on the catalogue.

By using this website and placing an order, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.
General
Italia Fabrics operates as an online retail and wholesale platform for fabrics, sewing patterns and related products. All prices are displayed in Euros and include VAT where applicable.
Orders & Payment
Orders are confirmed upon receipt of full payment. We accept major credit/debit cards and other payment methods as indicated at checkout. Italia Fabrics reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of pricing errors or stock unavailability, with a full refund issued promptly.
Cut to Order Policy
All fabrics are cut to order. Once your order has been processed and cut, it cannot be cancelled, modified or returned unless the item is faulty or arrives damaged.
Intellectual Property
All sewing patterns sold on this platform are protected by copyright. Patterns are for personal or professional use only and may not be reproduced, resold or distributed without written permission from Italia Fabrics. Any unauthorised reproduction, sharing or distribution will be subject to legal action.
Limitation of Liability
Italia Fabrics is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products. Our liability is limited to the value of the order placed.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by Italian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Italian courts.

4. Delivery & Returns
Delivery
Shipping Zones & Estimated Delivery Times:

Delivery times are estimated from the date of order confirmation and may vary depending on your specific location, local customs processing and carrier availability. Italia Fabrics is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance for non-EU orders.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs for non-EU orders are calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight. All applicable import duties, taxes and customs fees for non-EU deliveries are the responsibility of the customer.
Order Processing
All orders are processed within 1–2 business days. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.
No Returns Policy
Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on any items, including fabrics, sewing patterns and bundles.
Fabrics
All fabrics are cut to order specifically for each customer and therefore cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances.
Sewing Patterns
All sewing patterns sold on Italia Fabrics are printed and shipped as physical copies. Once purchased and dispatched, patterns cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances. Each pattern is protected by copyright — unauthorised reproduction, sharing or distribution is strictly prohibited and will be subject to legal action.
Custom Orders & Wholesale
All custom orders and wholesale purchases are non-refundable once confirmed.
Exceptions
The only exception to this policy is in the case of items that arrive faulty or significantly damaged. In this case, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at [your email address] with your order number and photographic evidence. We will review each case individually and, where applicable, offer a replacement or store credit.
